eNCA 7月27日线索称，KwaZulu-Natal Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs MEC Reverend Thulasizwe Buthelezi已要求全省disaster management teams进入high alert，原因是South African Weather Service更新了severe weather warnings。

KZN冬季强降雨、大风、道路积水和局部停电，常会影响Durban、Pietermaritzburg、North Coast和乡镇路线的送货、员工通勤和仓储安全。华人商户应提前检查屋顶、排水沟、门口沙袋、冷库备用电源和保险条款。

若有长途送货或夜间驾驶，建议避开低洼道路、桥下积水和山路落石区域。遇到市政或警方封路，不要为了赶单强行通过；货损、车辆进水和人员安全风险更大。
